Sangwoo Seo
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Materials Intelligence Lab at LG AI Research, where I work on a materials foundation model that integrates organic and inorganic materials, with a particular focus on equivariant GNNs.
I received my Ph.D. from KAIST, where I was advised by Prof. Chanyoung Park in the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering.
My research focuses on building AI systems for graph-structured data and applying GNNs to various applications. Specifically, I have worked on explainable AI for GNNs, multimodal learning with GNNs, physics-informed AI, and circuit graphs. From November 2025 to April 2026, I was a visiting researcher in the Graph and Geometric Learning Lab at Yale University, hosted by Prof. Rex Ying.
